"Expecting" is the twelfth episode of the first season of Angel and the twelfth episode overall. Written by Howard Gordon and directed by David Semel, it was originally broadcast on January 25, 2000 on the WB network. Cordelia Chase goes out for a night on the town, and invites a young, charming man back home. When she wakes up in the morning she is heavily pregnant. She soon discovers the child is demonic in nature, but Angel and Wesley Wyndam-Pryce eventually solve Cordy's problems.
