In contrast to Kanu and Koumei who have obvious crushes on her, Ekitoku is very aggressive toward Gentoku which frightens the latter. Whenever Gentoku so much as speaks to Ekitoku, she will most likely respond in a violent tone and attack Gentoku. Despite this she is protective of Gentoku, but not to the extent of Kanu.
