Michael Stirrup appeared in Coronation Street in August 1966 as a Messenger Boy and returned to the programme exactly two years later as Granston Technical College student Graham. He also appeared in the Yorkshire Television series Death or Glory Boy and in several episodes of Z Cars as a police cadet. On radio he was heard in Saturday Night Theatre.
