Richmond Gay Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity whose mission is as follows: "We develop and help sustain organizations, programs and services that contribute to a vibrant Central Virginia community that shares our values of diversity, inclusion, individual dignity, equality and civic engagement.” The foundation operates both the Gay Community Center of Richmond and Diversity Thrift.
