Pasiphaë is an immortal sorceress and the mistress of magical herbal arts, born by the Titan Helios and the Oceanid Perse. She is the sister of Circe. Through Minos, she was the mother of Ariadne. Due to her husband's blasphemy, she was cursed by Poseidon to fall in love with his prize bull and give birth to the Minotaur.
