During MegaMan/ProtoMan/Bass's battle against Alto, the play cannot damage him. Once the player is brought down to half health, a scene plays out where the play is shot with the energy wave and reduced to one hp. The player is defensles, and an unknown robot appears, blasts Alto, and throws an energy pellet. Afterwords, the battle ensues.
