The Anomaly Research Centre (often shortened to the ARC) was a government organisation, prominent during the early 21st Century, founded to predict and contain the Anomalies, as well as the creatures which came through them. They covered up the Anomalies' existence and creature sightings/attacks to prevent mass panic and stop anyone messing with either of them.
