Emma was born on Ord Mantell, the planet famous for its racing and gambling. Her mother, Elaina, was a farmer’s daughter looking to get off of the planet and her father was a smuggler name Jarrod. The two married after Elaina’s father was pushed off his land by a wealthy business man. The family took their ship, “The Heaven’s Joy”, and traveled the galaxy doing odd smuggling missions for various small time crime bosses. It wasn’t until Elaina’s death by a strange disease that even Bacta couldn’t heal, that Jarrod started to smuggle for larger Crime Lords and eventually the Hutts.
