Calladan Chemworks was a company on Gorse which handled the refining of the valuable mineral thorilide. The Cynda Dreaming was picking up a load of thorilide for refining at this company, but was damaged in transit and ultimately destroyed by the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Ultimatum, whose commanding officer had decided it would be more efficient to simply destroy the ship and await a replacement than wait for it be to be repaired.
