Jax Yularen was a Human male who served as a High Admiral in the Imperial Navy of the Fel Empire, and later Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. A native of Axum, he was the descendent of the influential Yularen family, which had a history of naval service dating back to the Clone Wars. He graduated the Axum Naval Academy by the time of the Sith-Imperial War, and served in it as an admiral in the early stages. By the end, he was promoted to High Admiral, and was in command of a fleet. When Darth Krayt committed a coup against Emperor Roan Fel, Yularen remained loyal to the throne and was placed in command of the Coruscant Second Fleet.
