Joseph Brown was a child who was killed with the modus operandi of the Origami Killer. He was last seen getting into Gordi Kramer's limo, and was found dead several days later, with drowning as the cause of death. It is this incident that causes Gordi to become the prime suspect in Scott Shelby's investigation into the true identity of the serial killer. Gordi kidnapped Joseph as a copy-cat act of the Origami Killer. Gordi held him under the water for too long and was crying afterwards (revealed by his father in "Face to Face"). His father also said Joseph was "just street trash like so many others."
