The Battle over Dromund Kaas was a space battle above the Sith capital world. The New Republic ships arrived after the HoloNet announcement of the Republic's return, they urged civilians to rebel against the Sith however, the civilians did not rebel instead showed disgust towards the New Republic. The Imperial Defence fleet assigned to protect the new super-dreadnought engaged the fleet briefly, but were told to withdraw. The new Republic fleet fired on the recently made defenceless super-dreadnought, thanks to the quick thinking of Captain Holldin the dreadnought fired back the super-dreadnought destroyed the entire fleet.
