Kara Jinn was the illegitimate daughter of Jedi Masters Qui-Gon Jinn and Tahl. She was born two years before Tahl's death and was brought to the Jedi High Council as an infant by Qui-Gon to begin her training. Qui-Gon told the Council that her surname was Tajin (tah-yin) so as to hide her parentage.
