During the Calm Phase, Thulecite Medallion will be tan, during the Warning Phase, it will be tan with red accents, and during the Nightmare Phase, when Nightmare Lights spawn Shadow Creatures, the Thulecite Medallion will glow red. Examining the item at this time will provide further details regarding the current state of magical flux: becoming more magical, staying steady, or becoming less magical, referring to the start, middle, and end of the Nightmare Phase, respectively.
