Janen'gan was a member of the Gan Clan of Twi'leks on Ryloth. She was the wife of Ronin'gan, the mother of Evon Gane and Catherna Jogan-Gane. Her parents were Akalee'gan and Hacoh'gan. She admired her father's father Eevon'gan'e, since he saved her from a group of lyleks as a child. She was killed in 14 BBY on the Starferry by a group of Duros pirates.
