Morchella is one of the Ten Pirates of Hawkins, and has one piece of the Treasure Map of Hawkins, which is needed in Ultima VI. After killing Hawkins, she moved to Serpent's Hold, where the Avatar found her. She was willing to give up her piece of the map, as long as the Avatar gave her a magic shield, so that she could enter the Order of the Silver Serpent. The deal was made, and the Avatar acquired the map piece. Morchella claimed that she intended to give the shield to Sir Caradon, but instead decides to keep it for herself.
