Newt Gingrich, a.k.a. Newton Leroy "Newt" Gingrich is an conservative politician who served as the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999, lost power in a squalid scandal, and never quite regained his political footing. Nonetheless he entertains hopes of being elected nominated by the Republican Party for the presidency. Gingrich has embraced three religious denominations in his life: Lutheranism, Southern Baptist and now Roman Catholic. If most voters were Muslim he would pray on Fridays. "Paris is well worth a mass."
