A form of Hinduism popularized by a number of pop bands starting in the '60s, most notably George Harrison and John Lennon of The Beatles. Allen Ginsburg, a beatnik poet of the same vein as Kerouac and Berryman (referenced numerous times in 'Stuck Between Stations'), also recorded a track called 'Hare Krishna' on the album Tenderness Junction with The Fugs in 1967. Shelter, a band formed by former Youth of Today vocalist Ray Cappo, were ardent proponents of Hare Krishna.
