Metropolitan Market is an upscale Seattle-based supermarket chain. The location in Upper Queen Anne is a pretty small store, they don't have a regular meat or fish section, but it's the best place for cheese on the hill. For meat and fish it's usually better to go to A&J Meats/Wild Salmon Seafood Market just down the street anyways. This location may soon be replaced with a QFC. The group Queen Anne Neighbors for Responsible Growth is trying to stop the owner of the land from kicking out Metropolitan Market.
