For each recipe there is a Field Skill Level. This is the level that you need to apply SP to in the menu. Some recipes also need an IC Skill Level. These are the levels given on the character's pages. In the group you will need to make up the numbers shown in order to invent the recipe. For example: In order to create the Flame Sword you need 5 in Smithery, 12 in Alchemy, 3 in Crafting and 11 in Sense. You can do this with Edge, Faize, and Lymle in a group. You will end up with 10+4-9 = 5 Smithery; 2+10+5 = 17 Alchemy; -1-3+7 = 3 Crafting; 5+5+6 = 16 Sense. You will also need to meet certain Group Requirements. This could mean having a specific member in the group or having an item.
