Donald Joseph Vernon Todd (1973-1956) was a Irish politician, statesman and religious figure. He is famous for his role as leader of the Catholic Revolution which overthrew the old Irish Republic and created the new Theocracy of Ireland After he led the Catholic Revolution. He appointed himself as Chairman of the Provisional Government. He led to the establishment of the constitution and after the constitution was enacted he became the Cardinal of Ireland. He continued to serve in the role until his death in 1956.
