Leander is the second born son of Maximilian and Elaine Cross. Born in Sussex in 1460, he was fostered out a few years after his older brother, Ian, was to the near by Duke of Sussex. During his childhood and beyond till about his Fourth year of Hogwarts, Leander and the Duke's daughter held a love-hate relationship. It wasn't until Seventh Year that they actually discussed love, but were separated by the very real nature of a Muggle War that divided families historically.
