Máugarth was an Dark and Powerfull Maia. He was a Chief to Morgoth before the Valar became evil. After Morgoth became the dark lord, Maugarth hoped to be his main lieutenant and was angered with the fact that Morgoth saw more promise in Sauron than himself.
