Giana Kayl was a female Mirialan smuggler and the captain of a freighter Meridian Grace during the Cold War. In 3643 BBY she was delivering cargo from Tai Cordan for the Balmorran resistance, a list of major supply caches hidden before the Imperial invasion of Balmorra. Unfortunately, the Meridian Grace was shot down and Kayl only had time to send a single holomessage before it crashed.
