Gamma Trixis was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in Federation space at coordinates 2.49N 0.32E. The Gamma Trixis system's orbit was the location of a planetary system, including the colony on Synchrinity. (FASA RPG module: The Federation) The stellar notation using the Greek language letter "gamma" indicates that there might be a star group or constellation of some sort named "Trixis", of which Gamma Trixis would logically be indicated to be the third most prominent star or system.
