The UCGR14 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include two DiMarzio humbucking pickups (a FRED at the bridge and a PAF Pro at the neck) flanking a DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA C3 single coil pickup, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The image on this guitar, entitled "The Angels Depart", features a desoloate gray landscape under a gray sky with three hooded figures and a giant winged creature in a small boat. It was handpainted and signed by Dan Lawrence.
