Josiah Amdusias is the Grandmaster of the Magestar who was responsible for forming the Fellowship of Magestar during the Great War. He has a cat familiar named Artagel. He acted briefly as a guest member of the Council of Mages during his trip to the Magicracy of Alent. He was framed for a string of mage murders but was released when the true culprit, William Charles Hil'neer, had been dealt with. He later returned to the Magestar and helped defend it against the invading forces of the Grey Cult.
