Gartopsh was the first uruk who was ever made in the Caverns of Isengard. He strangled Mugash, when Gartopsh wa s coming alive. Lurtz later drove him out from Isengard and became the one uruk-hai chieftain. Gartopsh escaped and later joined with Uglúk's group going to Amon Hen. He didn't fight; he hid. After the battle, he became one of two Hen-Uruk chieftains, with Gurghâsh. When king Aragorn came to Amon Hen, Gartopsh was killed and the uruks were deleted from Amon Hen.
