During the Battle of Normandy (depicted in both BiA:Road to Hill 30 and BIA:Earned in Blood) few jeeps were used by the Airborn forces during the initial operations. This was mainly do to the fact that soldiers parachuted into battle with nothing more than a man could carry. In Hell's highway, jeeps are frequently seen in cutscenes.
