Dick Perez Sketches is an insert set in 2007 Topps Allen and Ginter. The 30-card set was inserted 1 per pack as a decoy card. Dick Perez was the same artist who drew the beautiful Diamond Kings cards in the Donruss sets for years. However, in this case, his frames are too small and the players look nothing like they do in real life. It is arguably one of the ugliest sets in recent years. Also for some reason Topps did not airbrush the 1/1 from the base insert cards. Thus creating confusion as to which cards were the Original Sketches and which were the base.
