The Battle of Twilight's Honor in 1118 was a large, costly battle by the Crab Clan after an invasion by the Shadowlands. The Crabs were unprepared for such a large invasion by a spawn of Akuma no Oni, and were forced deep into the Kaiu Wall's battlements and an adjoining Kuni Castle. It was believed the Shadowlands had an ally within the castle that failed at a critical point, allowing reinforcements to arrive and push the oni's army back into the Shadowlands.
