The TIE Talon was unchanged from the original design, having two reversed TIE Interceptor wings for power. It was fairly fast, but not very manuverable. It had two laser cannons to help defend itself, but a light escort was usually preferred. The Talon's main armament was two high-yield baradium missiles, the most powerful non-nuclear warheads known. They are typically released at short range due to the small amount of propellant the missiles carry. Each missile had a vibroblade at its tip to improve penetration of enemy armor.
