Standard Tractors, and Standard Combines Pvt. Ltd were founded by Sardar Nachhattar Singh in Chandigarh, India in 1975. Tractors were introduced in 2000. Standard builds tractors, combine harvesters (both self-propelled and tractor-driven), 3-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles, front loaders for tractors, scooters, and engines derived from Perkins engines. Standard Combines Pvt. Ltd was renamed Standard Corporation India Limited in 2010.
