Red is Karra's first, and to date, only pet. He is a Akorec from Karra's home world of Trammis III. Much like the Rancors of Dathomir, Akorecs are the apex predators on his home world. He imprinted to Karra when he hatched from his egg, he instinctively saw her as a surrogate mother. A connection formed between the two through the force from Karra, much like how Rancors had long ago to the Dathomir Witches. Because of this connection Red is developing into quite the specimen of Akorec.
