The Empyrean Blade (also known as Star Sword in the SNES/PS version) is Crono's twelfth-level katana in Chrono Trigger. It has an attack of 125 and can be purchased at the Last Village for 25000 G. Also, it is found in a chest in the Ocean Palace. In battle, the blade shares its metal-white color with the Bronze Blade and the Mammoth Tusk, only its slashing trail is a rippling effect of impact-flashes colored light-gray (shared with the DS-exclusive katana Icewyrm).
