Malcolm James appeared in Coronation Street as Michael, an attendee at Peter Barlow's AA meeting in October 2010. He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and his other parts on television include Heartbeat, Crossroads and The Bill. On stage he has appeared in parts for the Manchester Library Theatre, the National Theatre, the Bristol Old Vic and several Shakespearean roles at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. His radio roles include Afternoon Theatre and parts in The History Man and Letters to an Icon.
