The Tanooki Kart is a downloadable kart found in Mario Kart 8. It's a jeep-based vehicle based on the Tanooki Power-Up found in some Mario games. The front of the vehicle features beady headlights, and the back has a spare tire with stripes based off the signature tail. Unlike most kart bodies, it doesn't get raised above the Monster, Hot Monster, and Cushion tires, similar to the Tri-Speeder. It offers good weight and traction, but bad acceleration and handling. It stats are identical to the Bone Rattler.
