The Parable Jilnar Gunship was Parable Shipyards' second capital ship put into production. The gunship was designed as a small ship that packed a strong punch, carrying a heavy armament for its size. It carried only a few point-defense and quad laser cannons so that heavier weaponry, such as light turbolaser batteries and concussion missile turrets could be added. The Jilnar gunship also carried three newly-designed naval ion cannons, which served the purpose of battering shields of capital ships and scrambling sensors and weapons systems to create openings for the assault shuttles carried by the gunship.
