The First Romulan-Klingon War was a conflict between the Romulan Star Empire and the Klingon Empire that began in the year 2041. The source of the skirmish began on reference stardate 0/0001.30 when first contact occured between the Romulans and Klingon races. This was during an encounter at Delta Khinah II when a Romulan scout ship was attacked without provocation by the Klingons. Before engaging its self destruct system, the scout ship T'Sattak sent a its log tapes to base.
