In the Battlefield series, a strategic object is any non-player, non-control point item for which a player may earn points for destroying or repairing. Strategic objects usually provide some sort of advantage for the team that owns it, such as increased mobility for bridges, artillery strikes and other , or protection for a control point (such as the consoles protecting a Titan's reactor core).
