Air shrimps were a species native to the gas giant Bespin where they lived in the planet's breathable layer of atmosphere amongst the algal trees that grew there. Members of the species traveled in schools and shimmered in rainbow colors to warn each other of predators like the Rawwk which would chase air shrimp schools.
