The doll was used by the Eds to hide inside it and trick Sarah and Jimmy to let them back into Ed's house in order to watch the 8 Hour Monster Movie Marathon. A wagon was used as the base of the doll and the inside of the doll had controls to move the wagon. Like some real dolls, this doll had a string to pull that makes it speak. Jimmy pulled the string which caused the Eds to speak. Hearing the Eds' voices, Sarah and Jimmy knew it was a trap and led the doll to the top of a streetlight. The Eds and the doll fell off the top of the streetlight which resulted in the destruction of the doll.
