Smith–Ninth Streets is a station on the New York City Subway's IND Culver Line. It is located over the Gowanus Canal between Ninth and Tenth Streets in Gowanus, Brooklyn. It is served by the F train and is the southern terminal of the G, except during occasional service disruptions. This station is a local station, with two side platforms and four tracks. Only the local tracks are in use; the express tracks are only used during service changes. South of the station, the express tracks are used to turn G trains.
