On the soundtrack, songs are performed by Miley Cyrus (both as Cyrus and Hannah Montana), Billy Ray Cyrus, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift and Steve Rushton. The song's "Butterfly Fly Away", which is performed by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, and "Back to Tennessee", also from Billy Ray Cyrus, appear on his new album, Back to Tennessee. The album debuted at #2 selling 137,592 copies first week, and after four weeks claimed the #1 spot, selling 133,000 copies.
