Giovanni Battista Buffo (9 December 1867 - 14 August 1978) was an Italian-American supercentenarian who is currently pending. At the time of his death aged 110 years, 248 days, he was the second-oldest man in the world, behind Charlie Nelson. Nelson died exactly one week after Buffo.
