Retired Army Colonel Liuz Bogumil, for one, didn't believe a single bit of the news. And while he'll soon be needed in his new job, he's taken the time to attend the meeting on the Berth Deck, still more or less being an 'outgoing' Colonel and for the moment not restricted in his movements. As far as he is concerned, however, Danik is being held against his will and tortured in ways beyond anything he'd ever conceived possible. Arriving at the designated area, he silently awaits what is to come, waiting for the opportunity to volunteer himself for harm's way if the opportunity presents itself.
