While casting magic with this staff, the bonus damage effect from blisterwood weapons on vampyres will boost the damage of spells despite the fact the wood itself is not in contact with the vampyre unlike the ranged and melee versions of the weapon. Cremating vyre corpses does slightly increase the staff's stats, but this is only effective when used against Vyrewatch/Vampyres. This weapon can be made on Entrana by smuggling blisterwood logs, a cut dragonstone and knife to the island and making it there.
