The Shadow Broker are a group of spies and politicians from almost every space-faring species in the galaxy, excluding only the vorcha, the geth and the collectors. The group was started in the 18th human century by the Salarian Special Tasks Group as a way of expanding their espionage to all corners of the galaxy. Soon, however, the group went rogue and started to sell secrets about every faction in the galaxy to their rivals.
