The Sockops are green sock-like creatures that inhabit Dimble Wood. They are able to hop through patches of thorns. They are able to create a yellow goo inside there hole. They use this hole as a mouth as well, as they suck on objects to eat them with it. When an enemy touches the goo they may become poisoned.
