In The Search For BigButt, The Prospector is interviewed by Buster and Plucky on whether or not he believes in BigButt. He tells them that he does believe in him, and that he was searching for gold in the rivers as a kid in 1909, when all of a sudden, he heard a loud sound behind him. When he turned around, he saw BigButt, and ran off. The next day, he found the giant hole where he encountered him.
